Fake E-Mail alert - Beware!!

I received this e-mail alert mentioning about new security update from HDFC Bank, India, as it speaks out. But, when I observed the mail deeply, I figured out that it is a fake mail and then, forwarded to HDFC Bank (genuine one :).

I am posting a copy of it over here, so that you can be aware of such fradulent mails. If you receive this type of mails, DONT EVER CLICK ON THE LINKS PROVIDED IN THE MAIL, and also DONT DO THE ACTIONS THAT WERE ASKED in it.

To be safe from these type of mails, HDFC Bank has specified a list of measures that its customers can take. It is @ http://www.hdfcbank.com/common/onlineservices/security/phishing_info.htm

Please do forward these kind of fradulent mails to hdfc @ fake.email@hdfcbank.com (as specified in above URL).

SAFE BANKING TO ONE AND ALL!!!
